Acceptance of any contribution, gift, or grant is at the discretion of Harvest100Fold.com. The Harvest100Fold.com will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the Harvest100Fold.com. Harvest100Fold.com will use reasonable efforts to ensure donations are applied for the purposes of the donation. Donations to missionaries typically cover normal living expenses are may be applied at the discretion of the missionary. Home visits within or to Brazil, including visits to supporting churches and donors are routine. Missionaries need your support whether they are deployed in the mission field or conducting church visits.
Donations are directed to the Presbyterian Church of Intermares in Cabedelo, Paraiba, Brazil (Intermares Church). The Intermares Church will receive the funds, deduct a ten percent (10%) charge for administration (including bank fees), and forward the balance to the destination ministry, which could be Mission JUVEP, directly to a field missionary or to support projects under the cosponsorship of the Intermares Church. If administration costs less than ten percent (10%) residual funds will be applied to mission projects. Intermares Church accepts no responsibility for oversight of forwarded funds for projects and people not cosponsored by the Intermares Church.
No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.
The Harvest100Fold.com will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation. Credit card donations are NOT tax- deductible under American law. Use TrustBridge International for tax-deductible donations to support Mission JUVEP.
The Harvest100Fold.com will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the Harvest100Fold.com.
Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for Harvest100Fold.com.
