CIGANO MISSION UPDATE – Feb 2020

Commit to the Lord whatever you do,

and he will establish your plans.

Proverbs 16:3

Grace and Peace beloved!

It is with joy that I write to you again, offering a Cigano Mission update for February 2020 and more news. I hope that this letter finds you in health and full communion with our God.  I thank you for the prayers and words of encouragement given to my heart.

At the end of January we had an EBF (children’s bible study).  It was very good with 55 Cigano children, I was able to count on the help of a colleague from JUVEP, Teacher Neia. She stayed with me for a week.  She was able to help with other activities in addition to the EBF. I praise God for her life!

JUVEP has a Sertanejo seminary.  The Director returned to his home in Germany and I was asked to serve as interim Director.  This week classes started at the seminary.  So far, we have few students because of the season.  This was the week before Carnival and some municipalities have not released school buses yet.  Additionally, the secretary is sick and she can’t come to work.  I ask you to pray for her.

The Word of the Lord teaches us to plan and trust our projects in the Lord’s hands, so that they can be accomplished. That’s why I always do this planning and pray. This year I want to share with you, so that you can pray with me.  Throughout this year we can contemplate the Lord’s deeds for His glory, if this is His will.
